The following is a trick for those using a p2p ship to get faster speeds.

No promises, but it worked for me. No download necessary.
Just go to your P2P ship.

Go to tools and then Options

Then go to speed.  Change your connection Speed to T3 or higher…even if its not true.

Congrats, you should now be getting yout booty faster.

Today I am going to share a gem of a rule with you. A rule that most experianced Modern Pirates are aware of. A rule that pretty much ensures you some quick booty! YARRR!! BOOTY!!!

When sailing on your P2P ship, always be sure to choose a treasure with a high #. The lower the number the slower the booty, the higher the number the sooner you’ll have your booty. Its that simple! In a Torrent ship, you want to choose a booty that has lots of “seeders”, specifically, more seeders then leechers.

Ahoy me Hearties and lurking Lubbers,

Today we will discuss a very important matter, a very important matter indeed!

You may call yourself a pirate but you are no real pirate unless you have a vessel!

So today this ol’ Seadog is going to talk about choosing the right Ship.

There are various types of Ships out there, The two most popular types are known as Torrent ships and P2P ships. First you should take into account your experience and the desired speed you would like your ship to be. Torrents are often the ship of choice for may Modern pirates, They can go various places, and indeed much booty can be found when one is sailing in a Torrent ship. But Torrents may be a bit tricky to novices, and they can be a bit slow if the weather isn’t amiable.

My ship of choice is a P2P model.

She has given me many years of smooth sailing. Alas as of late it has not been all clear waters, but even with the best ship you are sure to encounter storms on your way to treasure.

P2p ships offer easy maneuverability, great navigation, and they can be very quick, which means you get your booty sooner. But be wary, as a good P2p ship is hard to come by. Many ships have flaws and the modern pirate must always be on guard and cautious to avoid cursed booty! There is nothing worse then opening a treasure chest and discovering it is filled with snakes.

P2p ship are sometimes unable to travel in all waters, which may limit it and prevent you from finding the booty you are searching for! Torrents are craft little ships and although they can be slow and are not as easy to manuiver as the classic P2p models, they can almost limitless in where they can travel. Yar, despite being the ugly little things that they are they certainly can deliver some great results. If your searching for a hard to come by treasure, then a Torrent ship may just be the ship for you. When it comes to sailing on a Torrent ship, having the ship is not enough. Unlike a the P2P ship which practically tells you where the treasure is located, you must search pirate hangouts to gain the location of your booty when using a Torrent ship.

One very popular hangout for the Modern Pirate is known as Pirate Bay.

Ah the ever infamous Pirate Bay, one of the best known ports for Torrent Ships and the Pirates that love them. There was a controversy in recent history involving this popular port, an event perhaps that made it even more well known. It appears that a bunch of Lubbers invaded the lovely bay and tried to destroy it. YAR but those scurvy dogs had a suprise, The Bay fought back, and now not only is the port still open, its even busier then ever. What these addlepate lubbers don’t understand, is that even if they succeded in closing that particular port, more would spring up in its place. Pirates have been around for hundreds of years. There are reasons people pirate, and closing ports doesn’t work. If these Lubbers want to stop pirating then they need to discover what drives the pirate… Perhaps these greedy Lubbers, should learn to share their booty, instead of hording it all. Perhaps booty should be made more accessiable to the general public. Take away the reasons to Pirate. But until that day comes Pirates will continue to seek their treasure through other means anyway and any resistiance will just lead to more creative methods, and better ships.

The Modern Pirate

Ahoy and Avast Me buckos!

Times have changed since the days when pirates were the scourge of the seven seas. Pirates have evolved. We’re even quicker, even smarter, even drunker cooler, then before.

The Modern Pirate is savvy, valiant yet cautious often concealing their identities as to avoid getting a kiss from the gunners daughter.

The Modern Pirate lives by a new set of rules, updated and adapted to suit Modern Pirate life. (Things have changed since the 17th century mateys)

But before we get into the new rules, lets take this time to recap on some Classic Pirate Articles, just incase theirs some Lubbers wishing to go on the account.

These were the articles used by Captain John Phillips’ ship ‘Revenge

• Article One
  Every man shall obey civil command; the captain shall have on full share and a half in all prizes. the Master, Carpenter, Boatswain, and Gunner shall have one share and quarter.
• Article Two
  If any man shall offer to run away, or keep any secret from the Company, he shall be marroon’d with one bottle of powder, one bottle of Water, one small Arm, and shot.
• Article Three
  If any Man shall steal any Thing in the Company, or game, to the value of a piece of Eight, he shall be Marroon’d or shot.
• Article Four
  If at any Time we should meet at another Marrooner (that is, Pyrate) that man shall sign his Articles without Consent of our Company, shall suffer such Punishment as the Captain and Company shall think fit.
• Article Five
  That man that shall strike another, whilst these Articles are in force, shall receive Moses’s Law (that is 40 Stripes lacking one) on the bare Back.
• Article Six
  That Man that shall snap his Arms, or smoak Tobacco in the Hold, without cap to his Pipe, or carry a candle lighted without lanthorn, shall suffer the same Punishment as in the former Article.
• Article Seven
  That Man that shall not keep his Arms clean, fit for an Engagement, or neglect his Business, shall be cut off from his Share, and suffer such other Punishment as the Captain and Company shall think fit.
• Article Eight
  If any man shall lose a joint in time of Engagement, shall have 400 Pieces of Eight: if a limb, 800.
• Article Nine
  If at any time you meet with a prudent Woman, that Man that offers to meddle with her, without her Consent, shall suffer Death.
